Completed Post Graduation in Agricultural Economics from the S V Agricultural College, Tirupati in 2003 and Doctoral studies and research (Ph.D) at the Division of Agricultural Economics, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI, New Delhi) in 2008. Joined ICAR in June, 2009 and worked in ICAR- CMFRI till March, 2017. I have contributed to the development of Aquastat-Statistical compendium and online Aquastat-web based module a database on brackishwater aquaculture. I have worked on Monte Carlo simulation methodology to estimate economics of disease loss in shrimp aquaculture, export performance, COVID-19 impact on shrimp farming sector; shrimp export rejection, drug use pattern and technical efficiency in shrimp farming. She has interest in database development for brackishwater aquaculture, impact assessment for various brackishwater technologies, technology forecasting, economic analysis of aquaculture production, marketing and trade systems and domestic and global trade issues in shrimp exports. She is also part of the Institute Technology Management Unit and Incubation unit at ICAR-CIBA.
