Considering the importance of aquaculture and the impact of different diseases, epidemiological study is important to find out the accurate cause and impact associated with diseases. In this regard, a school on “Aquatic Animal Epidemiology” was organised during 29th September to 3rd October 2025 at ICAR- Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA), Chennai. Prof. Kenton L. Morgan, an expert in the field of epidemiology and former emeritus Professor at University of Liverpool, United Kingdom handled the course for the entire period. The participants were exposed to different theoretical and practical aspects related to aquatic animal epidemiology. About 20 professionals from different parts of the country and associated with aquatic animal health research participated in this program. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Kuldeep K. Lal, Director, ICAR-CIBA. After successful completion of the course and the test, certificates were distributed to the participants.
