Brief profile:

After taking masters in Veterinary Pathology in 2001 and PhD in Veterinary Pathology in 2006 I am working in CIBA since 2008 on Aquatic Animal Health. I currently work in division of Aquatic Animal Health and environment Division in CIBA. I have interests in disease diagnostic studies pertaining to pathology and pathogenesis

  • National Scholarship Scheme from the Education Department, Tamil Nadu Government in the year 1990.
  • Dr. Ramaraksha Kiran Shukla Award best M.V.Sc. Research work in Veterinary Pathology by the Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists(IAVP) in the year 2002.
  • Prof. Patri Rama Rao award for the best Ph.D. research work in Veterinary Pathology by the Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists in the year 2007.
  • Best Poster award- Second Prize, Molecular characterization of Vibrio alginolyticus isolated from brackishwater environment using RAPD and ERIC- PCR at the XXI annual convention of the Indian society for Veterinary Immunology and Biotechnology held at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai from 17th -19th July, 2014.
  • Chief Guest Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Sharma award for the best M. V. Sc. student in Pathology by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and animal Sciences University in the year 2002.
  • K.P.P. Nair memorial award for the best M. V. Sc. student in the subject of Applied Statistics by Tamil Nadu Veterinary and animal Sciences University in the year 2002.
