Brief profile:

After taking masters in Aquaculture (Inland) in 2002 and PhD in Aquaculture in 2007, I am working in CIBA since 2008 on Brackishwater Finfish Breeding and Aquaculture. I currently work in division of Finfish Culture Division. I have worked on the breeding and aquaculture of brackishwater finfish species of significance to brackishwater aquaculture sector. I have contributed to breeding of pearlspot Etroplus suratensis. As a part of a team, I am focused on captive breeding of finfish species -Grey Mullet, Milkfish and Asian seabass. I have interests in finfish breeding and seed production and developing aquaculture models for supporting livelihood.
