Brief profile:

After taking masters in Animal Nutrition in 1995 and PhD in Animal Nutrition in 1998 I entered in to ARS stream and since 2003 I am working in CIBA on Aqua nutrition. I currently work in the division of Nutrition, Genetics and Biotechnology in CIBA. I have worked on nutrient requirement and feed development of Hilsa, grey mullet, Asian seabass and for multispecies culture. I contributed to the development of low cost polyculture feed, branded as PolyPlus, which has been commercialized. As team leader I contributed on successful rearing of hilsa in brackishwater pond using formulated feed. I have also worked on nutrient enrichment of feed ingredients through solid state fermentation.
