Started my career in 2001 as a veterinary assistant surgeon and served in the state government for five years in Tamil Nadu state animal husbandry department performing duties like animal treatment, husbandry, management, administrative and extension activities. I have completed my master's and Ph.D. in the major field of Veterinary Pathology during 2003 and 2016, respectively. I have joined ICAR-CIBA 2007 and have been working in Aquatic Animal Health and Environment Division. With my expertise, I have been contributing to epidemiology, pathobiology, diagnostics, antibiotic residues, and therapeutics of bacterial, viral, and parasitic diseases affecting fish and shrimp in brackishwater aquaculture.
