ICAR-CIBA participated in the exhibition event of the third edition of TechBharat-2022 at CSIR-Central Food Technology Research Institute, Mysore from 19-21, May 2022. The event was inaugurated by Shri. Kailash Choudhary, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of India. Honourable Minister emphasized the need for innovations and viable technologies in agriculture and food sector to enhance the farmers’ income. Smt. Shobha Karandlaje, Honourable Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of India visited ICAR-CIBA stall during the event on Agritech and FoodTech Expo. The successful technologies of shellfish and finfishes were exhibited and displayed in CIBA’s stall. More than 6000 people visited the stall and they were also provided with literature on successful technologies in brackishwater aquaculture farming. Dr. T.N. Vinay, Scientist, NGBD represented the institute and coordinated the exhibition.
